SELF-DRIVE DIRECTIONS

Google Maps and Waze can direct you to Palace Africa (formerly Riad & Kasbah Dar Ilham). From Marrakech take the N8 Route de Fes to the roundabout at Sebt Ben Sassi (Saturday market Ben Sassi or Souk Sebt). Take the third exit on the roundabout. You will pass the police station on the right then after 200m, Palace Africa is on the left.  Ring the bell on the right side of the entrance and our guardian will open the gates. From Palace Africa to Mellah (Place des Ferbantiers) in Marrakech Medina usually takes 25 minutes (16.8 km on Waze's fastest recommended route).

LOCAL TRANSPORT

A grande taxi and public bus stop is 300m from the entrance of Palace Africa, on the roundabout on the N8. A seat in a grande taxi costs 20 dirhams per person into Marrakech. Public bus stops L26 and L261 serve Marrakech from Sebt Ben Sassi. Download app 'In Drive' for an Uber-style of private car transfers. A one-way journey between Marrakech and Palace Africa typically costs 150 dirhams.

​​​PRIVATE TRANSFERS FROM MARRKECH BOOKED BY PALACE AFRICA

If arriving at Marrakech airport your transfer driver will be waiting outside in the arrivals area. He will be holding a sign saying ‘Palace Africa’. If you cannot locate your driver, please wait in the outside arrivals area and call us. Remember to email us your flight information before your leave home. Alternatively, you will be picked up from your riad or hotel at the time arranged with our booking office.
